Arbeloa must go now - it's time for the Khans to axe incompetent Spaniard and avoid sleepwalking to their fourth relegation.

Dave Kidd argues that Fulham's gamble on former Real boss was clearly a grave mistake as his rock-bottom team surrender again at Ipswich in a recurring nightmare.

WHEN you are stuck in a recurring nightmare, you need to wake up.

Alvaro Arbeloa must be sacked by Fulham and the longer it takes for Shahid and Tony Khan to take that inevitable decision, the greater the prospects of relegation become.

Fulham’s next two matches, at home to Hull and away at Coventry, are must-win fixtures now and we have a better chance of winning them with a caretaker manager than Arbeloa.

Ideally, Eddie Howe or Thomas Frank would be in charge next Saturday. It doesn’t seem as though the change will come as soon as that, but if Fulham fail to beat Hull, surely the Khans cannot bury their heads in the sand any longer.
