SIZE doesn’t matter. Not if you’re talented enough, hungry enough and quick-thinking enough.
That is the claim of Alvaro Arbeloa as he defended his recruitment of the lightweight Real Madrid duo of Manuel ‘Mami’ Angel and Cesar Palacios, to play alongside fellow titches Josh King and Oscar Bobb.
And while new striker Gonzalo Garcia seems muscular enough, he does not boast the same target-man stature as Aleksandar Mitrovic or Raul Jimenez.
Together, those five players combined to form the smallest Fulham attacking unit in living memory in the last half-hour of Tuesday’s 3-2 Carabao Cup win at West Ham.
