I grew up in West Norwood, South London, and I was a lonely boy, football-wise. It didn’t help that my older brother supported Crystal Palace, as did childhood friends in an area that also had a fair-sized Chelsea contingent.
So a home defeat at the hands of Palace runs deep. Four on the trot and without a home win against them in twenty years is frankly taking the piss, especially when it runs tandem with the increasingly farcical situation in the Hammersmith End.
I’m the antithesis of what rival clubs perceive Fulham fans to be. I stand up, sing, say rude words and have seen us play at over three-quarters of the current 92 league grounds.
