HI-HO, hi-ho, it’s off to the last 16 of the Carabao Cup we go!
Fulham’s snow-white dwarfs secured the club’s first success on the road for almost seven months, while scoring our first away goals under Alvaro Arbeloa, with Oscar Bobb netting his first goal for the club – sending us all home happy despite some sleepy, dopey and bashful defending.
When Arbeloa sent on his second-half subs, with West Ham threatening and this third-round tie locked at 2-2, it looked like something out of a Disney animation.
With Bobb, Cesar Palacios, Josh King and the mascot-sized Manuel ‘Mami’ Angel supporting the not-exactly-massive Gonzalo Garcia, this must have been the shortest attacking force Fulham have ever fielded. Tony Pulis’s Stoke City this was not.
