THERE were positives all round for Alvaro Arbeloa as Fulham booked a Carabao Cup third-round trip to West Ham by sweeping aside League One neighbours Wimbledon in a 3-0 victory.
We witnessed welcome goals for Emile Smith Rowe and Rodrigo Muniz, followed by a peach of an injury-time third from Gonzalo Garcia, with Shea Charles the man of the match on his full Fulham debut.
The only real negative was an injury to Luc De Fougerolles, who had impressed in central defence on his first Fulham start in almost three years.
Arbeloa made ten changes from the side beaten by Chelsea, with only Oscar Bobb remaining in the starting line-up and he was replaced at half-time by Macaulay Zepa – who assisted Garcia’s goal on a lively competitive debut. Here Saturday White Fever runs through the main talking points:
