Alvaro Arbeloa’s mini-revival continued in the eye of Storm Boelo, as Oscar Bobb's sweet shimmy and finish sealed back-to-back wins and a first Premier League success away from the cosy confines of the Cottage since February.

It was a game low on quality, played in difficult conditions, but Fulham are finally learning to win under the Spaniard and 3,000 fans headed back to London smiling after a well-earned victory over Frank Lampard’s team, who proved a shadow of the muscular unit that pummelled Newcastle in their last home game.

The Norwegian wonder kid - who can still frustrate despite earning a regular starting berth - produced a sublime flash of class when it mattered, mesmerising Jack Rudoni face-on, before a jink and whipped finish flew past Rushworth.
